This old M47 Patton (?) can be visitied on a military training area (reserved for troops only) near Hannover, Germany.
When the area is not in use civilians are allowed to enter it (on has to look if there are flags posted at the access-ways; if so, you are not allowed). One has to stay on the regular paths tho, if you get cought by the MP straying around you might be charged about 100 € for doing so.
If you care for a GPS-Location, here it is:
N 52° 26.436 E 009° 46.594
(just google for it and click on "maps" or enter in google earth).
There are 3 tank-wrecks here, all stripped of their motors and any noteworthy equipment:
Two M47 Pattons (?) and in the middle an M7 (?), all placed in a straigh line aproximatly 40 yards apart.
They all can be entered.
In fact, the soutmost tank hosts a geocache (GC24D9B), which is a premium-cache (meaning: you have to be a paying member at geocaching.com in order to see any details and in order to log your visit online).
